Meet Our Team

Dr. Chad Cozart, D.O.

Internal Medicine

Dr. Cozart spent his childhood in Manchester, TN.  After high school, he moved to Cookeville, TN where he graduated with a computer science degree from Tennessee Technological University. While in Cookeville, he met and married his wife, Michelle.  He went on to get a master’s degree in biotechnology from MTSU before attending medical school at DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine in the small Appalachian town of Harrogate, TN.  Dr. Cozart completed his Internal Medicine residency training at The Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, OH.

Dr. Cozart entered the medical field to have the opportunity to help others. All of his education, life experiences, and medical training have worked together to give Dr. Cozart a strong belief that medicine is better when it is simpler and individualized with a strong slant towards preventive health.  He loves to work with patients in a partnership to achieve better health outcomes.

In 2018, Dr. Cozart, his wife, and three children returned to Tennessee.  They now reside in Hendersonville where they attempt a garden each spring, homeschool the kids, and spend their free time camping, hiking, and playing games together.  On the weekend of July 4th in 2023, they adopted their very energetic dog, Sparky, who immediately squirmed his way into the hearts of the entire family.
